New Oak
Our Approach
New Oak Academy is a literacy-nature-inspired school that focuses on the whole child. Our unique approach to learning involves the classroom environment, the educator, and the family partnering together. Knowing that children are inherently curious, we provide a safe, rich learning environment with curricula that are developmentally appropriate to the specific ages in each classroom. The curriculum is designed to individualize the learning experience to ensure each child develops at their pace. Our program is designed to enhance children’s development in creativity, self-expression, problem-solving, responsibility, independence, communication, and decision-making.
The educator’s main focus is to provide an environment that is filled with unlimited possibilities that encourage children to make discoveries, have meaningful conversations, interact in meaningful ways with other people, and expand their knowledge of the world that surrounds them.
